The installer is used to push the seal over the remainder of the cone and into the groove on the injector tip. The sizer is then placed over the seal to compress it back to the correct OD to allow installation into the cylinder head

Purchased these for my 2013 Ford Fusion and never applied grease to them before installing and 3 out of 4 failed. 😣 I do not believe the injector O-rings were faulty, just misinformation on installation Instructions. In all fairness, I’m still going to give it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
