The insert fit our opening but THE REMOTE DOESN’T WORK! It does take the chill from the room. If you want an insert with a remote BUY A DIFFERENT ONE!

Measurements were perfect for my application. Needed something shallow which would fit in a broken gas fireplace ($1200 to repair). Had to build a basic mounting support. Total cost of the project including fireplace =$200. Nothing fancy but does add a lot of ambiance to the living area. The heat will work for a 20 x 20 ft room if it's above freezing outside. It'll struggle if it's colder.I think it's a good buy. And just 2 trips to the hardware store for mounting and facade materials.

I installed it into a real wood hutch bottom, added trim & real bricks . Mortared them in. It works great. Yes it does have a fan noise, but not that bad. Like a ceiling fan. Heats my living room real well!! I get lots of compliments on it. I love the effect of the flames. Close to looking like real ones. Do wish the manufacturer would add a brick background behind the flames. It would make it even better. It was worth the money & the time I spent on a Saturday afternoon.

I love this unit! Easy to arrange your rock and or wood. The lighting color, flame speed, temperature are great features. The glow and warmth is just what I wanted! It’s quiet, has two handles for moving or inserting. This is my 3rd electric fireplace and is the best one yet!

I got this to replace the old fireplace that went out on my RV. If was the only one that had similar dimensions, and after removing the little plastic feet it came with, it fits like a glove. This fireplace is half the price of the replacement the repair guy was recommending, puts out more heat than the old one, and has more useful functions than the old one. It also looks pretty cool, and realistic. Of course a $600 fireplace is going to look even more realistic and probably have more features, but this was only $250 and I'm extremely pleased with it and it's functionality for the price. It warmed up my entire RV pretty quickly (35ft and fireplace is at one end), and that's what matters most to me. I highly recommend it.
