We got it and installed it only ti find out that to have it in the ductless configuration we need to buy another conversion kit that is not available anywhere. The web description specifically states this can be used as ductless but they conveniently forget to mention that you need a conversion kit that is practically impossible to find for this brand. This is very bad cause the company has no website no support at all. I have bought a generick conversion kit which I hope will work.

Received March 2024 but sat unopened untillDecember 2024 due to extensive kitchen reno. When finally removed from box and installed (no problem, it works) it was noticed that the tab on one of the two grease filters was broken off. Before that, the filters had never been touched. Can't contact supplier to get replacement.nPlease note that THE BOX REMAINED UNOPENED BEFORE INSTALLATION BEGAN.

I bought this range hood a couple of months ago and just installed it. So I cannot say too much about the longevity of this product. But what I can talk about is the customer service I received when the original hood I installed had a problem.Customer Service:*** The seller Tieasy always responded to my messages very quickly ***After I contacted the seller through the Amazon order link, Tieasy Customer Service immediately responded. After sending them a video and description about what the problem was, Tieasy Support Team determined the possible cause of the problem quickly and gave me the option of a full refund or sending me a new replacement unit. Since all openings on the wall and cabinet were already made, I chose to get a replacement.Just installed the new unit a few days ago. It works like a charm.Pro:1. I really like the appearance of this range hood. It is elegant and uniquely shaped which directs cooking fume to the exhaust opening very effecient.2. On the highest of the 3 CFM settings, it moves a lot of air. You can feel it.3. The noise level on the highest CFM setting is not bad at all. I haven't done any noise measurement, but I can say it is much quieter than two of my previous exhaust hoods. It doesn't bother me at all.*** I believe the 7-inch diameter exhaust duct helps a great deal with CFM and noise reduction. ***Con:The 7-inch exhaust duct and vent cover are not as easy to find. I bought a 8ft 7-inch semi-regid duct at the local home store L*wes (the only place I could find) and the plastic louver vent cover (7-inch) at ventmyhouse.C*M.Based on the experience of my interactions with Tieasy Customer Service, I highly recommend this seller.

I removed some kitchen cabinets and the previous vent was mounted to the cabinet. Tried mounting a standard vent to the ceiling but you had to be tall to reach it. I took this one to my local metal guy and hlm cut off 15 inches on both pieces (and and) so I would be over 30 inches away from the stove. Easy install and looks amazing.

It is stainless steel, lot of fingerprints easily gets left and visible to all. Need cleaning but everything about it is beautiful. It doesn't have the pipe included with it, so need that from homedepot/lowes.installation needed professionals, so budget $600-$1200 for it depending on complexity. The plastic nut covers and screwed included weren't as strong, my handyman got stronger ones from lowes to install it.

Update:I had a question about the install and the sellers communication was above and beyond. I would definitely use this seller again!Removal of the protective plastic is EASY! Read on…The enclosed instructions are very generic since they cover 3 or 4 different mounting styles. That being said installation is pretty simple and straight forward.1) mount the top plate to the ceiling (I ran some 2x4’s in the attic on top of the drywall and screwed into those instead of using the drywall anchors).2) Cut your hole for the vent hose.3) assemble the anti-backdraft pieces and install the vent hose onto the range hood. (I used #4 screws to hold it in place and aluminum HVAC tape to support the first 4-5 inches of hose in an extended position) - my concern is that the hose may collapse (contract) and the anti-backdraft pieces not open completely.4) assemble the angle supports to the length you want and attach them to range hood.5) use a utility knife to cut the protective plastic down the seams of the cover pieces. Remove the blue protective plastic.6) slide the cover box pieces together and down over the angle supports.7) lift the hood (2 people required) into place and screw the angle supports to the ceiling bracket.8) raise the inner cover box piece to the ceiling and install the self tapping screws.9) remove the 4 screws holding the glass. Lift the glass to allow easy removal of the protective plastic film on the range hood.

No instructions to specific product. Just generic instructions included. But fairly easy to figure it out. I let it sit for a month while looking for someone to install it Finally decided to do it myself. Opened the box to find the glass cracked in half and all corners of both the enclosures bent. The body is so thin and flimsy that did not take much to bent the corners out of shape. The words part is that the lower enclosure has straight finished bottoms not fitting the surface of the fan body. The threads have burrs in them and you have to run a tap through them. The screws holding the rails together interfere with installation of the fan and light body. It is a cheap junk I regret buying, but unfortunately I could not fix my old Italian one. One more thing: I never encounter stainless steel staining as easily as this one! I'm afraid to use stainless steel cleaner we use on our refrigerator. I would gladly pay twice a price for good made in USA piece. We need to stop buying Chinese crapp.
