I really liked the fact the Qaihiel snake repellent for yard are pet and human safe. They are made out of essential oils. They are individually wrapped so they stay fresh. They also come with small individual cloth bags for hanging. My problem is that the directions say not recommend for use during rain, so I’m not sure if that means they need to be replaced after every rain. I wish the directions were a bit clearer on this. Until it rains I won’t know.

These Snake Repellant Balls smell very similar to moth balls, and they are of similar shape and texture. They are a little smaller than they appear in the picture, but following the given instructions, I placed them 3 to 6 feet apart in my garage and around my front and back porch and feel confident that the ingredients and scent of these balls will do what's intended. I like that the scent is not too strong or unpleasant, and that in addition to placing the balls on flat surfaces, the included little bags make it convenient to hang the balls in places if needed.

I got these for the other ingredients, which are known deterrents, but unfortunately, all I can smell is mothballs. Seriously. These are literally just mothballs, which are cheaper. I’m disappointed that the other ingredients are so weak, if some of them are even in there at all. I put 2 of these down and was knocked back by the smell by my back porch.The only good thing I have to say is that they are individually wrapped, so the box can be put away with extra piece of mind that they’ll be protected until needed. Because you definitely can’t store these in the house….Guess they’ll work bc they are so overwhelming, but you can save yourself the extra money and just pick up a box of mothballs at the grocery store, if that’s what you’re going for.

I've used these in the past. We had a den of garter snakes in the stump of an old tree, and I tried plenty of things to get rid of them. The only thing that seemed to work, was moth balls, but they stunk up the area for weeks on end, to the point where you couldn't enjoy being outside in that area. I switched to another brand of these types of repellant, with equal success.While the cost of these quite a bit more than a box of good old mothballs, these definitely don't have a smell that will keep YOU out of the area as well as the snakes! I've got an entire yard, as well as my boat, to worry about them making a home, so the 36-pack is a great size for my needs.The only thing to remember, is to keep this to yourself! Once you start using these, your neighbors will likely have some stories about how they've started to see a lot of snakes around. I'd hate for THEM to start using these, and send those snakes right back to me!

Very pungent smelling, hopefully they work well at keeping snakes away. Very good price for this amount as well. I'll be updating the review in 30 days when I have an idea of their effectiveness.

So far these seem excellent. We have a problem with chicken snakes getting into our suspended ceiling in our basement by coming through some opening under the siding we have yet to identify. They don't stay long but they utterly freak me out. Since we have put these all around the foundation of our home about 4 ft apart I haven't had an incident. Of course, it's not full on warm enough for the slithering invaders to be out and about much this year but when it was I haven't noticed any coming in. Unlike those noxious ones that reek of mothballs, this set are certainly pungent but much more natural smell like strong herbs so they don't run me out of my basement office with the smell coming into the room.

I put it around my yard and some areas near the house and I have not seen any snakes since. The scent is strong but not too bad and it lasts a long time without needing to be replaced. I also like that it is made with natural ingredients so it is safe for my pets and plants. It is really easy to use. Just open it put it in the right spot and you are done. It definitely helps me feel more comfortable when I am outside or in the garden
