The original battery had some rubber VHB tape on it to keep it from rattling around in the motion controller for the PlayStation. These will rattle around if you don't take up the excess space in the battery cavity. I didn't have any VHB tape handy and using the old tape was not going to happen so I just took a couple of unneeded business cards and made them work as spacers. These work well holding a charge and I'm happy to actually finish a game now without the controller battery dying early. I'm happy with the purchase. These work well.
