I am using this to control my RO system that is outside on my patio, primarily for my aquarium. I connected a timer using the 24v from our sprinkler box. It is quite and firmly on or off. It gets slightly warm to touch but when running for 45 minutes (1 gallon of output) it never gets hot.I would certainly purchase again.If I had one request it would be for them to include the licking clips for the hose fittings. Im paranoid since this is connected to a T connection on our main.My apologies, this valve does come with locking clips, it was another device that came without.

Worked great, and it was just what I needed! I hooked it up to my 24V AC unit to control some mister valves. So far, my AC usage has gone down by about 20% on average!

Best to avoid this cheap valve. I learned the hard way. Install one of these on the water inlet of my under sink RO water treatment system. Somewhere around a month ago I started noticing the well pump was coming on (to fill back up the storage tank) at times when I know water hadn't been used in a while. After another few week of checking things, I finally checked the RO system and realized this "normal closed" valve wasn't closing and water was just running through it and down the drain.I think the old saying "you get what you pay for" is fitting in this case. I should have known better.

Bought this for a replacement for a faulty solenoid valve in my zero waste system for my RO system. Cost a fraction of the cost of the OEM replacement and seems to work just fine. The 1/4 inch connectors work fine. The electrical connection required me to crimp some connectors on the wire I cut off the original valve but that was easy. Solved the problem of the zero waste pump not turning off.
