Work fine with 3/8" OD plastic tubing. Be sure to insert tubing fully into each fitting.An O-ring provides the seal and metal teeth hold tubing in place securely.May not work well with softer tubing. Worth a try.

I purchased this for RO system which had some older fittings that started leaking. This fittings stopped the leaks and also it feels it is stronger built than others. It has quick connection which is easy to install and remove. This also comes with many other styles fitting and will fit 1/4” water line tubings.

I purchased this set to go along with a Drain Line Adapter (DLA) that I installed with my garbage disposal so I could connect both an RO filter and a dishwasher to my garbage disposal. I used the 1/4 inch quick connect plugs from this set to seal the DLA. As you can see in the second photo, the plugs offer a secure seal. I also tested this by running water through the system to confirm there are no leaks.Packaging was high quality. I appreciated that the items arrived in a sealed cardboard box.
