About Chinese Dragon Dance
Origin of Dragon Dance (wǔ lóng)
Dragon dance is a traditional dance form in Chinese culture. The dragon represents wisdom, power and wealth. Like the lion dance it is most often seen in festive celebrations. It is believed that performing the dragon dance scares away evil spirits and all the bad luck associated with them, and brings in good luck and wealth instead.
Known as wǔ lóng in Mandarin, the Chinese dragon dance is a festive performance that’s most often seen during the Chinese New Year celebrations. This Chinese dragon dance involves a team of highly skilled performers that move in unison under a large, decorative paper-mâché likeness of a traditional Chinese dragon.
Now we redesigned it to be lighter and more agile, so that you can make it "dance" anywhere and anytime in your daily life, taking you outdoors to exercise and also achieve the effect of fitness.

Good quality prop! Ive used this for hours and it has only shown minor wear. I recommend trying this prop if you’re a flow artist or looking for a really cool exercise tool!

The entire thing is made out of plastic. This was sold to me as if it were made out of silk. It is not. Being made out of plastic makes it a much heavier flag and much more energy to get it off the floor. I am extremely disappointed. I will not buy from this company ever again.

It's quite heavy. Even riding down a concrete wave, on a skateboard with headwinds, it barely makes it off the ground.

When I received this dragon I bit off a bit more than I could chew as far as length for a beginner, but once I cut it to about half length (10ft ish) it worked pretty well. I will say my only qualms are that I was sent the wrong color which oh well mistakes happen, I wasn’t too concerned with that. Also the fact that the fabric attached to the weighted ball part was already a bit frayed and so when I went to spin it it gets caught in the metal hook attachments that hold the weight to the silk part. Lastly that the fabric is quite thin so it wrinkles like crazy unless you meticulously fold it back up very carefully but even still the creasing on the patterns doesn’t really go away.Overall would say it’s a decent starter dragon if you don’t mind the length, possibly getting the wrong color, and having to roll it up carefully each time you use it or just dealing with the wrinkles and creasing.

This thing is so cool!! I am all about finding cool things to do with the kids that don't involve devices with screens, and this one definitely has the wow factor! Every time we go to the park, we bring a whole plethora of fun stuff, and this has earned its place among the favorites!! Every kid at the park stops whatever they're doing and comes over to see what this is all about. This is also perfect for me to teach all the kids about physics and science, and I will never miss an opportunity to feel like the smartest person in the group! I would like to note that although I have never used one of these before, I don't have much to go off of as a comparison, but the first thing I noticed was how much nicer quality this was than I was expecting. I mean WAY nicer! At this price point, I would totally expect the cheapest manufacturer, but was pleasantly surprised at just how nice it all was. The rope handle alone is woven and nice and fancy, and I feel like I have seen dog leases exactly like this for significantly more money than what this kit costs. There were so many opportunities where they could have taken a cheaper route, and it is greatly appreciated to see a company that still cares about its customers! Yes, it's just a toy, but I want to make sure and point out when a company does something right, and they definitely did this one right!!

I have practiced poi for a couple years now, and I thought this would be fun to try as a new, but still somewhat familiar experience. This is very fun to play with but very easy to get worn out while doing so as it is a bit heavy and also the tail catches resistance from the wind, so you have to swing it hard enough to get it to flow properly. It is definitely an eyecatcher and an easy way to put on a neat little show, just make sure to get your practice in to build stamina and to also make sure you don’t accidentally whack yourself which does hurt. I also really appreciate the drawstring backpack that it came with for transporting and storing overall a really neat flow toy to play around with.
