Better than I thought it would be - especially for the price! Perfect height for my older cat to get on bed and very sturdy.

We recently raised our bed by a considerable height and this has been a wonderful addition to the end of our bed. We have two toy poodles that we knew were going to have issues but we also do cat fostering and currently have 9 cats indoors. Now we have stairs that are functional for the dogs and enjoyment for the cats. Not an inch of wasted space, which is great in our small area! One poodle learned very quickly and one is still in training but I know he will eventually get the process. We are thinking about purchasing another to sit next to it and make one big stair area at the end of our California king bed.

This is a great cat tower (so far) - but DO NOT buy it as steps for any dog. It can handle a cat, but despite it saying it can hold 150lbs of weight-it is extremely shaky. It needs a much heavier base or screwed into a floor to keep it from shaking/moving.

It's very cute but not functional as stairs. Broke the same date it was delivered.
