My family has used this oil for years! It works for many uses and does a great job lubricating. Stops squeaks right away, for a long time.Great quality oil.Even though my can was taped shut, it leaked all over the box getting everything packed with it oily. They need to put the can in a plastic bag and ship it alone, so it doesn't get anything else oily.

My dad always had a bottle of this around for various things and forty years later, I finally joined him. There are a trillion different variants out there from all over the world, but this stuff is the real thing. Just add a drop to the joint in your pocket knife, scissors, what have you, and you're good to go.

Works well for around the home. I use it to oil various things and it's small enough to store easily inside with a tight fitting cap. It does have a fairly strong smell in my opinion, but thankfully it does not smell nearly as bad as drain oil so it could be worse.

Oiling the parts on bike derailleurs isn't easy with regular oil cans with little nubby spouts. They can't get into tight places. I was glad to find this new can and it works like a charm. Oil cans, when I was a boy, came with long spouts but makers got away from them for some reason. This new oil can spout extends eight inches above the bottle. I bought it online because hardware stores don't carry it. Incidentally, if you buy one, the red cap on the top isn't to seal the spout when not in use; it has a tiny hole for delivering tiny drops of oil instead of flooding the part with oil.

3 In One Oil has been around for decades and is great for lubricating small things or big things in small areas. Stores used to carry it everywhere, but I couldn't find it locally anywhere.This "new" bottle includes a built-in, flexible extension that allows you to put a few drops of oil on objects in really tight places, even upside down! I was able to lubricate the top of an air horn compressor while laying on my back. Worked perfectly plus no extra drips when I was done. Great addition to an always great product.Recommended!
