3M(TM) sandpaper comes in a variety of minerals and a wide grit range. This fine-grit aluminum oxide sandpaper is a general purpose abrasive that can be used on painted surfaces, bare wood, and metal. The 3-2/3-Inch by 9-Inch cut sheets can used by hand, on a sanding block, or a power tool sander. Sanding is an integral step in preparing a surface to receive a coating. For the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the wood and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to very fine.

What can I say, it did the job expected. I ordered a course grade in order the sand very old paint from a small desk with lots of small edges. I was happy it did such a good job. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely order it again.

I used this on rough cowhide that just wouldn't smooth down with beeswax and finishing. It solved my leatherworking issue in short order.

After applying the mini wax wood filler, I chose this light weight sandpaper to sand the wood to a smooth finish. This is an important step in getting the wood just right to take a matching stain. It was recommended that this weight of sandpaper was what was needed in the type of wood I was using. It worked well in smoothing out the filler to accept the stain. I chose small pieces to make it easier to sand the hard to reach places on the wood bottom of the coffee table.

i used these for a furniture flipping project. it worked well enough but i had to go through the entire pack becuase it's very thin. For simple things i think it would work a lot better, and not bad for the price

The sandpaper worked as expected. Durability was real good. You could fold it and still have a good grip on it to sand by hand. It made the wood where I cut smooth without a hassle.

on my Wen Sander, so not happy with that, should be using cloth back sheets only I guess. . . but the price was good on these.
