Product Description

This economical disposable N95 particulate respirator is designed to help provide reliable worker respiratory protection against certain non-oil based particles.

From the Manufacturer

3M™ Particulate Respirator 8200/07023 (AAD), N95 is an economical, disposable particulate respirator that is designed to help provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles. This respirator is designed for use for particles such as those from grinding, sanding, sweeping, sawing, bagging, or processing minerals, coal, iron ore, flour, metal, wood, pollen, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or non-oil based particles from sprays that do not emit oil aerosols or vapors. This respirator can also help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles (examples: mold, Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis), but cannot eliminate the risk of contracting infection, illness, or disease.

This particulate respirator is NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved for environments containing certain non-oil based particles and provides at least 95 percent filter efficiency.

Breathing hazardous particles can pose a risk to your health. NIOSH, a Federal government regulatory agency, has tested and approved the 3M Particulate Respirator 8200, which is designed to help reduce exposure to certain airborne particles.p>

This review is late, but it looks like we’ll be wearing masks again in the future and a lot of people are already starting to wear them. These masks are so much better than the very simple plain mask or the ones made out of fabric. The shape of the N 95 makes it a little easier to breathe in a little less hot. And it is easy to keep on my ears or the other ones kept falling off truthfully I still don’t like wearing masks, but if I have to wear one, the N95 is the only way I’m gonna go.

Sets are individually boxed and wrapped in plastic to preserve the viability of the earpieces. Fit snugly, while remaining comfortable for long periods. These are used for work and each mask lasts for several days even in an industrial setting.

I am so used to wearing masks all day so most masks don’t bother me. But there are some N95 that are just worse than others. This one is particularly more comfortable than others because the cone shape keeps it away from your mouth when you talk. The rubber band is more durable than the other 3M N95 with yellow rubber band. It has no valve which protects both the wearer and other people. After trying multiple N95, this is the type our family choose in the end.

With everything being what it is now a days, getting these things has been a pain. I used these when installing drywall, fiber glass insulation, and sprayed on ceiling texture. They breathe well, keep all the crud out of the nose and lungs and protect against all the particulate matter that causes issues. I also have used them for dealing with dusty pollens when running a brush-hog and they work well for that too. Just make sure if you're a guy, that your beard is close cropped, otherwise they don't work as well. The seal doesn't make all that great against hair.

Just received this order. This box should have been sent in a box instead of the plastic bag it was delivered in which caused the box to be somewhat crushed. Not happy, but it could have been acceptable, except for the fact that the inner bag has already been ripped open. I'm thinking it was a return from someone not pleased with the product. They are shorter than the ones I already have, but I'm sure they would still fit my face. I just don't have a good feeling about where these masks have been or why the inner bag was already ripped open, and I will be returning them. They don't look like fakes as other reviews have stated. I don't think they smell bad, although they do have an odor. I don't know how that would be when wearing them for hours. I'm not going to try them out because I'm planning to return them. I can't really rate this item properly. The mask itself looks fine. My issue is with the box, and not feeling safe about how they were when they arrived.

it has the new smell. the masks are a moderate fixed shape so the material or ink label to make them hasn't fully cured. What I mean is when you get the new car its all the plastics haven't fully cured out. same thing here. completely normal, I will just leave on the shelf to air out and use them then, it will be okay. Otherwise you can smell it coming through the mask when its on.Fits great and very good seal to my face.

N95 Masks . . . don't leave home without them ! Sadly, on two occasions nurses volunteered compliments about these masks as they - front lines nurses - were just provided marginal surgical masks. Of course, theirs were free and I had to pay, but I figure these are a bargain penthouse way to put my money where my mouth is. Mask up and experience a strange but possibly life-extending way to become a fashion icon.
