I bought these shoes a size larger than needed per feedback from others and they fit perfectly. Work great behind the plate and I never need to polish them-just spray and wipe some tire shine and they are good to go for the game!

I have multiple pairs of shoes I can use on the field. This is my go to pair. They are comfortable, provide excellent grip, as well as providing protection for my feet from that wild pitch or foul ball.

These are the most comfortable and lightweight plate shoes I have owned in my thirty years of umpiring. These shoes are also super easy to clean; no polish needed.

I ordered these to replace my New Balance plate shoe. I was tired of the constant cleaning and these are the way yo go. One thing to keep in mind is that the shoe is about a 1/2 size difference. I am usually a 9 1/2 and the size 10 in these shoes was the size I needed. I only found this out as I tried on another umpire's shoe that was a 9 1/2 and it was too small but not by much. I then knew I needed the size 10 in this shoe. I highly recommend this shoe! Shipping was within a couple of days and no issues at all. I have now done 2 weeks worth of games in these shoes and I will never go back to the New Balance plate shoe ever again or a high top shoe for that matter. The low cut shoe is much more easier to maneuver and run in. It's a more natural movement and free flowing run/sprint/jog in these shoes!

I used these for the first time this season. They are super light. They can feel kinda tight at first but once they are broke in they are great. Super easy to keep clean and the patent leather looks great with just some soap and water wipe down. Also you can add orthopedic insoles for extra comfort. Just loosen the shoestrings up a bit.

I have friends that these shoes fit perfectly but my toes were pushed all the way to the end. I wanted to love them. I didn't want to have to go with the NBs and shell out the extra bucks, but I did. The returns were no problem.The shoe itself is nice, light and solid. I would have loved it. If it fits you you are going to enjoy them.
