Brother had a ps4 controller new and sealed in a box he bought a long time ago and never used. Straight out of the box the down dpad didn't work. Bought this, and replaced and all was well.It is not hard. But can be a little tricky so watch a video and go slow.Only thing I didn't like about this, is that you need to buy 3 when you only need 1. Also the seller ships this inside a flimsy envelope, which is mailed in a flismy bubble mailer. The envelope was of course bent, but the film still worked.

Managed to fix two PS4 controllers that had button issues by swapping out the conductive flex circuit. I rarely use these controllers so they probably oxidize over time. One was a JDM-020 and the other was a JDM-011 controller.

so i had an epiphany once. you see one of my older controllers had the left D-pad and triangle button stop working, so i either only used it for games with those buttons not entirely necessary or not at all. and had been thinking of getting a new one when suddenly, IDEA. the issue wasnt with the REST of the controller. just the film! i could replace it and the controller would be brand new almost for less than a quarter of the price of a whole new controller! i was already comfortable with taking controllers apart as i had installed an LED inside my other controller. so i saw this and ordered it. replaced the film of the broken one and i can use those buttons again! the ONLY issue i have with it is that somehow it had caused the L3 button to become less sensitive so i have to press harder on the analogue to press the button. and the speaker on the controller doesnt work anymore. but hey i can live without a speaker and can live with pressing a button a bit harder! my controller is working fine and i can use it again to play 2 player games now! all in all. MONEY WELL SPENT

Avevo un DualShock 4 a cui non funzionava più il tasto R1 nonostante avessi pulito le membrane interne e il circuito con alcol e cotton fiocc; l'unica cosa che mi rimaneva da fare ormai era sostituire la membrana. Dopo varie ricerche attente su internet mi sono imbattuto in questa offerta, 3 membrane per 10€ circa quando solitamente se ne trova una a 8-10€ (non contando i siti cinesi in cui si trovavano a circa 4-5€ l'una ma con spese di spedizione e tempi d'attesa immensi).Un po' scettico per le poche recensioni (solamente 3) ho deciso di tentare e alla fine devo dire di essere rimasto soddisfatto. La sostituzione è andata bene e tutti i tasti ora sono funzionanti, per ora nessun difetto riscontrato (tende solo a sollevarsi un po' più facilmente nella parte bassa ma dopo aver chiuso tutto ok).Aggiornerò la recensione se dovessi riscontrare problemi futuri.Complimenti al venditore!
