Overall this is a good little saw for its price. When I had the blade locked in place there was a slightly cheap-ish feeling of the connection between the plastic handle and the blade. But this is a given considering you're buying a saw on amazon. Although there is a more weakened feeling to this blade I feel that it will work fine if you're hiking and caught in a emergency situation.

I've been watching vloggers using these on backwoods camping trips. I've tried this one out sawing wood that is as much as 5 inches in diameter and have had no issues and it cuts well. While the blade itself is a bit thin, it could be easily broken if you got too aggressive with your sawing or the blade was pinched in the wood. I haven't tried the two included cable saws but those could be your backup plan if needed and they take up very minimal space in your pack.

I'm a little leery to use this for a heavy duty project. The blade is quite thin and very flexible, not what you would want in a tree trimming saw. It would be great for pruning shrubs or small bushes, but then you could use loppers for those projects. The price is very low, so It's a great price point for what you're getting

Review for 3PCS DWKFEOQ Folding Saw and Stainless Steel Cable Saws Set, Heavy Duty 11.8 Inch Long Blade Hand Saws for Wood Camping, Dry Wood Pruning Saw With Hard Teeth, Quality SK-5 SteelI got these for pruning brush and some branches from trees I'm removing, the cable saws are great for those tough areas I can't get a saw blade in and work through. Instead of trying to 'cut' into those bushes/young trees with a chisel, hatchet, or an oscillating tool I can use the cable saws. That also lets me do it early when I like to do yard work and not disturb my neighbors.Like pole saws the blade is pretty flexible but the real issue is when in the locked position it 'slips' back and forth letting the plastic parts get sudden force shock as you start, stop cutting and it slips. When I'm sawing I don't want the blade slipping in the handle the only movement of the blade should be that which the user imparts on it not it slipping inside the handle.That concerns me about how long that loose fitting will be able to standup to use as I got this for yard work not to use a handful of times for a year or two then forget it exists.To use a handful of times on several camping trips this might do fine but I doubt it will be something that lasts even if I take care of it. It is disappointing because the locking mechanism seems solid, there was care and engineering done there but not in fixing the blade to the handle when in the open position.

I am an avid gardener and wanted a handsaw that folds just so I can avoid accidents. This one fits the bill perfectly. It is very sharp and folds nicely so I do not cut myself by accident. The saw is very handy and cuts small branches that are a bit thicker that my pruners cannot handle. It is well made and I am sure will last a few years.

I like that this includes two steel cable saw. It’s nice to have for emergencies when you can’t carry a big saw around with you. The saw itself is foldable. It was able to cut branches easily.

i have a old huge nectarine tree that has overlapping, broken, dead branches and has been unattended to and unpruned and left to overgrow for years it seems in my new home. i had to cut large small skinny and thick branches and the saw did beautifully. the cable saw is strong as well and i had no issues using either.
