These cute juggling pins are decent for the beginning juggler. The handles seem to be made from cardboard, so I wouldn't get them wet. I don't think these are very durable due to that. They are lightweight and the size is as expected.Good budget training set

My family likes to try out different "old-fashioned" (i.e. non-electronic) activities when we hang out at our camp. A favorite over the years has been juggling. So far we'd only tried scarves and "balls" (hacky-sacks, really). I thought it would be fun to step that up this year. Hence: juggling clubs! These are a basic beginner set. They're not too wide, and they're pretty short for a club, both of which are good for beginners and shorter people--which is most us in our family. They're also about half the weight of usual clubs, at 125g each (give or take 1 gram; impressively close). This is good if you're not used to the weight, but less so if you're outside and have to worry about wind. They're made largely out of plastic, with a foam base held on with a screw, a rubber tip, and what I'm pretty sure is electrical tape holding the handle to the body. The plastic body is the same material as those toddler bowling sets you can get, or a little kid's bat. Not super high quality, but they'll take a beating.I'm one of the least coordinated in our family, and I was able to easily get into a rhythm to get the club to do a full rotation before I caught it (but not more than that). Right now I'm just working on that, as it's still too cold to spend much time outdoors, and inside I will definitely be chucking clubs everywhere as soon as I try more than one club at a time. So just trying to get used to the weight of them and how much force is needed to get them to the height and arc I want. They're very good for this.I *know* my family is going to get a lot of use out of these, especially my two (adult) kids. And my dad. And probably my cousin. Oh heck, all of us will be grabbing these at random times for a little practice.Regarding price, these are more expensive than seemingly identical sets available on this site. While I'll keep these, I'm not sure I consider $30 a good value for them. We'll have to see as the summer goes along, but I'm glad I have them.
