I have the coolest whistling tea kettle. It’s looks like something out of The Jetsons as it sits atop my retro stove. The whistle sounds like a cross between the Vienna Boys’ Choir and a fog horn. Imagine my dismay when the o-ring on the lid broke after copious cups of tea & navel gazing and I’ve lost my whistle. No melodious fog horn to wake me out of my morning stupor. Well, this o-ring is a good temporary fix. The coil is fatter than my old one so the whistle sounds like...a whistle. I need my fog horn/choir boys sound back but at least now my kettle won’t explode like it was threatening to do without an o-ring.

I didn't replace O-rings for awhile and my RO started to leak because of bad seal. These are inexpensive and you should get a spar set for your own RO. They will last a whole year (depending how often you change filters), so one pack a year will do you. (Mine were in for about 5 years!)

You're supposed to replace the O-rings on the RO unit on a fairly regular basis. I didn't do this. Couldn't figure out why it kept leaking. Finally re-read the instruction manual and noticed the O-ring thing. Bought these and they fix the problem. Lesson learned. They were great what can I say?

Wanted for a king chlorinator, their name brand was $60, for one, this was not even 10$ for 3, I put rubber grease on it before using it, 3 months later looks brand new, great buy.

These fit my BRS mini reactor perfectly and stopped the leaks. I would suggest using a little bit of silicone grease however to make sure they last. Great price considering other options.

I have been struggling to get a good seal with my whole house filter. I didn’t think the o-ring was the problem. But damn no issues now! They work great. Just make sure you order the right size. Thats not always easy. I used this on an Aquasana pre-filter housing and that works with the EQ-3000 media.

I tried really hard to make sure I got the right size for my Global RO system. These are thinner and smaller than my originals. My current ones are disintegrating into a black smudge. [edited]Update:I was able to stretch the o-rings and they fit perfectly after that. Just know these are not thick - verify what you have before hand.
