The diameter of the opening is larger than a typical umbrella pole, so it does allow for some movement.

Needed a replacement for the flimsy one that came with the stand and this is perfect. It comes with 2 size options, which is perfect. It's kept my umbrella in place through several summer storms. No complaints.

The hole ring plug fits perfectly into my umbrella base, but was still a little loose for my umbrella pole. I tried to use both plugs, but the pole was a wee bit bigger than the second plug. No matter, after tightening the screw, it got a little better. At least it’s not moving from side to side when the wind blows. I’m happy that there’s a product that helps me out like this.

These look like the perfect solution for my umbrella that fits too loosely in my umbrella stand. Unfortunately, they are too big for my stand so I won't be able to use. I assumed these things were universal in size, but now I know better. I would recommend you measure your stand and your umbrella pole before you buy.

It’s only the three little parts. The base is not included. (my fault for not being thorough when looking at the product before purchase) but I just wanted to share with everyone else so you don’t make the same mistake! Great little product for what its intended for though.
