It’s with "Half Damper" function. (Some models of digital piano, such as P125 / P128, need to be connected to the pedal and then shut down and restart again, so that the pedal can be recognized and then all functions of the pedal can be used normally. Other models of piano can also refer to this method to use.)
Note: due to the design characteristics of the YMH digital pianos, the "Soft Pedal" effect of almost all YMH digital pianos is not very obvious. It's not without the "Soft Pedal" effect, it's just not so obvious. It is the same even in the brand of the original pedal. But all YMH digital pianos can control the stronger or softer change of notes through the speed and strength of keys, and this is why the "Soft Pedal" effect is not obvious on YMH, and it is also an important feature of the YMH digital pianos design.

Yamaha sold me an 800$ piano and was then unable to sell me a set of pedals for it! I attempted to buy the fc35 given the plugs are the same and the dgx 660 is so close to the 670. But of course that doesn't work! I then attempted to buy the lpa-7 which is intended for the dgx660 but no store online has it in stock and after talking directly to Yamaha support they confirmed there is no set of pedals for the dgx660.These pedals appear to work. Thank you for doing what Yamaha found soooooooo difficult to do!

I reported the one star negative review a confirmed buyer wrote because ATENDCVH goes out of its way to warn everyone this pedal will NOT work on the Yamaha DGX-670. Yamaha was supposed to have their triple pedal available in America as of December 22, 2023, but have failed to do so. Also, Yamaha claims that their pedal for the DGX-670 WILL work with the DGX-660 that I own. I had placed a pre-order for the Yamaha made triple pedal that I cancelled upon reading ATNEDCVH's detailed explanation of the DYN plug being the same but the six inside pins not being wired the same. The person writing the review that included a comment on the pedal not working and being a "waste of money" obviously was NOT reading ATNEDCVH's warnings on the pinout of the connector and was attempting to get a triple pedal for their DGX-670 being frustrated by Yamaha failing to make the product available in The United States as promised by mid December 2023. Yamaha is famous for not correctly informing the users of their electronics on what's actually up. My Yamaha DGX-660 date of manufacture is January 2016 and after playing it for 8-years it is still in like-new condition, however Yamaha did NOT tell the truth about the differences between the DGX-660 and the DGX-670 outright on their website. I had to use Piano World in the United Kingdom to get the DYN plug pinout information being different and then search for a week to find a triple pedal that WILL work on my DGX-660, which is this pedal from ATNEDCVH. In closing, I almost upgraded to the DGX-670 until I found out on the UK website I would lose features I use every time I play my DGX-660 because Yamaha defeatured their new flagship DGX series keyboard to keep the price point the same as the previous flagship model I own that is so excellent that it was in production from 2016 until 2023 without any changes being made whatsoever. They even continued to manufacture the DGX-660 for two years after the DGX-670 began production in 2021. Trust me, the DGX-660 is the superior instrument. Steven Joel Speirs, Arkansas USA
