I cut this in half lengthwise and mounted it with some standoffs on my motorcycle muffler (DR 650). I wanted to mount some soft bags and was concerned that the material would contact the aftermarket muffler and melt. it has worked very well for this purpose. Now to find something to do with the other half....

I'm a growing welder/ fabricator that builds, races, and tunes drag cars. The experienced guys that has used the cheap polished Chinese IC piping you know that it tends to weld terribly. I was skeptical buying this 4" because it's Amazon however I can assure you that this aluminum is good quality and not like the cheap crap. It appears to have been lightly and evenly sanded/finished and makes for a great look when done!! Highly recommend!!!
