The way to set these locks as followings:
1.The original number is 0-0-0-0. Setting your own combination.
2.Pull up the shackle. (as in the picture above)
3.Rotate the shackle 90° counterclockwise, Hold it down and then continue to turn another 90 ° counterclockwise .
4.Set your own combination by turning dials to the convex line.
5.Turn the shackle back as normal. The procedure is now complete.
6.Dial your numbers to the convex, pull the shackle to open.
7.Insert the shackle and scramble the numbers to lock, repeat the above to reset.

The price was good as well as the quality and they were easy to set up, following the instructions.However, the downside was that only 3 of the four worked. One of the locks did not worked after many attempts to set it up.

After reading other reviews, I immediately opened the package after receipt & checked to make sure I could set my own combination on all of the locks. I purchased 4 for my upcoming trip. They all were easy to set to a new combination. After using on our trip, they performed as expected. Locked & unlocked without fail. They went through TSA security & got home with them still functioning. I would buy again. I loved the teal color also.

These are amazing! The color is true to the color in the photo, and as a teal obsessed individual, that was much appreciated. They are easy to set, easy to use, and work perfectly. They're strong and sturdy and they mean business. The color makes it easy to find on the bag, and you can tell that the quality is high.

The item received is not a TSA lock but just a normal padlock. Image displayed against the product is not the same item you will receive. No TSA logo on the lock.

These locks are excellent - bought to replace standard flimsy locks and worth every penny. Easy to set combination, solid and sturdy. Highly recommended.
