Nice company to work with. Looks like a well built tool.

Update: Company reached out and apologized and offered a full refund. I'm updating my review to reflect their customer service. They also informed me that they have an updated design releasing in the near future, so I'll probably hold out for that. The gap is too small to slide over the hinge. The second size up is the appropriate size for my hinges, however the gap in the end is so small it won't allow it to clear the flat parts of the hinge. The reviews seemed good... I must've received a defective one.

I have an over-the-door organizer on my bedroom door that I use to store several overshirts and robes. Because of the weight of these items, about 2 years ago, I noticed that the bolt in the door hinge tended to start slowly popping out every few months. My fix was to just tap it back into place, but I wish I would have known about this tool earlier. This door hinge tool was exactly what I needed to fix this problem. It truly is an easy tool to use and--most importantly--it works! The only downside is that it removes some of the paint on your hinges (if they're painted like mine are). Since I live in a cold weather climate, the rubber grip is a huge plus--it's comfortable and not cold to the touch. Overall, I like it!

The lack of any sanding after the cut the pipe is crazy. It should have smooth edge so it dosen't scratch the hinges. It works but take some pride in your work please

I used this hinge adjustment tool on our front entry door, which had started sagging so that the top corner had a noticeably wider gap than the bottom. The door is a heavy commercial type with .134 gauge hinges, and I wasn’t keen on pulling pins or rehanging the whole thing if I could avoid it. This tool worked the way I hoped it would. It gave me enough leverage to slightly tweak the hinges and bring the top back into alignment without damaging anything. The stainless steel feels solid, and the rubber grip kept it from slipping while I was working the hinge. I wouldn't call it comfortable exactly—it’s a tool, not a lounge chair—but it didn’t fight me. If you’ve got a stubborn steel door and your hinges match the spec, this gets the job done without a fuss. I knocked off one star only because I had to search around a bit online to make sure I was using it correctly—it would’ve helped to have a simple diagram or instructions. Otherwise, no complaints.

The assortment of sizes for various types hinges is handy however the handle merely slides over the tool with no retention which has no bearing on the functionality but does allow the working end to fall out if not held horizontal or in upward position.Other than that it is well made for the cost.

This one piece hinge adjuster is a solid and well made tool. I had an issue with a couple of my interior doors where the hinges were off and the doors would open or close on their own. A few minutes with this hinge adjuster and the situation is improved with both doors. I was a bit worried that I would pull the hinges out from the wall or the door with all the cracking I heard, but it all turned out . The kit includes basic directions but the operation is straightforward and there are youtube videos available that walk you through the process.
