I used this to finish two small black marble cubes to complete a shower project. See the photos for the application, with the stone not yet set. I purchased a drill adapter so this would be easier for my purposes. It took a bit of time, and it's a little challenging to know when to move on to the next grit, but in the end the results were very nice. While the marble did get a little warm at times, the pads themselves stayed quite cool. A couple of things I would like to see with this kit would be a drill adapter and a final, higher grit disc for high sheen polishing, both of which have been mentioned by other reviewers. That said, this is a nice kit, I'm glad I got it, and I do recommend it.

This is a review for SSATISCN 4 Inch Diamond Polishing Pads Set with 5/8"-11 Backer Pad 8-Piece, Wet & Dry Use for Granite, Marble, Concrete, Quartz, Tile | High-Performance Diamond Sanding Pads for Stone,CeramicI'll start by saying I'm not a particularly handy person. I usually attempt smaller, rookie level DIY projects before I pester my husband to fix something, so I have a little bit of around the house experience but I'm absolutely a layman. That being said, these pads worked really well for me! I'd recommend them to anyone, even amateurs like myself that are new to polishing stone.I got these pads to polish up my kitchen quartz countertops. The quartz was overall dull and I had some stains I wasn't sure how to remove/fade. I had been looking at other sets of pads but thought they were a little pricey and larger kits than I had a need for. So originally I tried a powdered cleaner for stain and hand pads then a spray finishing polish... I'll tell you that was a waste of time, save yourself the trouble and skip it! I then did a bit of research online and ultimately used an angled grinder and these pads. They fit perfectly and were really affordable compared to other sets. The amount and types of pads you get are likely more than sufficient for a few jobs, perfect for home DIY projects. These pads are functional wet or dry and you can use them on anything from ceramic and marble to concrete. You get 50 grit diamond polishing pads up to 1500 grit. It's a good array of pads to cover start to finish projects, from chips and edges up to polishing to a mirror finish.I put off doing my countertops for a while because I thought it was going to be more complicated and take hours and hours to complete. These pads made it very simple and a relatively quick job I split up over a two day period. The counters look beautiful and really shine. Next time my counters need some maintenance, I'm ready and I'm actually looking to do some work on the bathroom vanity next. Great quality, sturdy pads and great deal too, definitely recommend this set!

This is a beautiful set of diamond polishing pads. They have this smooth feel to them. They fit in my angle grinder. I used 2 of them on my green granite countertop and they worked well. However, I definitely will need a 4,000 grit polish pad to get my counter top to the shine that I’m looking for.I started with the 800 and then used the 1500 because when I used to polish metal, I would never start with a grit that was too rough if I didn’t have scratches that deep. So, I’m kinda bummed that I have to get more polishing pads to finish the job but at least this set forced my to start the job that I had been putting off!😂So, in closing I’ll give them 4 stars for having correct info and them working well so far. But I won’t give them 5 stars because they didn’t finish the job.

I used these polishing pads to finish the edges on a piece of quartz I wanted to use to replace the top on a bathroom vanity. The pads were very easy to use and did a great job polishing the edges. This was my first time ever polishing stone, and it was very easy with this polishing kit (and a few instructional videos).

I have a marble coffee table that’s been in my family for maybe 60 years. It’s surface is kind of dull and dirty looking, with miscellaneous cuts and stains here and there. I’ve been wanting to clean and polish the surface for a long time. Two years ago, I tried a sanding kit with grits up to 5,000. No luck. Two years before that I tried various strong cleaners and polishes. No luck.Enter the SSATISCN 4 Inch Diamond Polishing Pads Set. When I Saw this set on Amazon, I was blown away. I’ve never seen diamond pads before. Diamond bits, yes. Diamond hole saws, yes. They’re all awesome. I had to have it. I had to try theseAbout 20 seconds into the start with the 50 grit pad, I knew I had a winner. These are the strangest looking pads, they look like a bunch of little sections of plastic. Apparently the diamond is embedded in whatever material that is. What I can say is that they CUT! Meaning they Cut the surface the way they’re supposed to. They WORK! I used a bunch of water, keeping the surface wet the whole time, and that’s my suggestion because as soon as the water dried up, the disc started cutting twice as much. Thi unfortunately means that it makes lines in the marble which then require more polishing to get them out. It’s a balancing act and if you’re working on marble, I suggest going slowly and lightly. Make that grinder float.I went through all the grits in one section just to test out all the steps before finalizing my plan of attack for the whole surface. It definitely did the trick, but my touch needs to be just a little more gentle as it took a little bit of time to get all the polishing lines out. It looks good now, and it’s super smooth, but it’s not shiny yet. I may need to order a 3,000 grit, and maybe more, but that’s fine. It’ll be worth it.Anyway, I hope this helps you in some little way, and I hope something Great happens for You today!
