This is a really neat product. You can use to install aftermarket electronics to your car without the need to cut into the original harness and with the protection of its own fuse. Super easy to install e works really well. I used it to install a solar panel to charge my car since i leave the car parked for long periods of time.

You just bought (or leased) a new car. You want to add some "stuff" to this car. Dash cam (can never be too careful), powered subwoofer (hey, gotta jam), some auxiliary interior lights, alarm, maybe a seat heater, whatever? These all take power, so you reach under the dash and cut a wire giving you the power you want and make a sketchy electrical twist-connection and wrap it in electrical tape. If you are really good and paid for "professional" installation, they used a vampire-tap (still sketchy, just not quite as sketchy as wire cutting and wrapping).I buy used cars. I have cleaned up no shortage of sketchy wiring connections chasing problems. Every time you hack your wiring harness, you introduce a point of failure for later. These are totally reversible (unplug them) and leave no trace when you later remove those accessories to sell the car or return at end of your lease.Please, please, please use these. Add-a-fuse units. Totally reversible. No wiring harness hacking. No instructions, but these are basically plug-and-play and you order based on the fuse size in your car's fuse block.

These fuse taps are great to utilize an available circuit in your car. They work by pulling the chosen fuse from the car fuse block, inserting the fuse taps, and placing the existing car fuse nearest to the prongs. The red power wire coming off the tap will power whatever is connected, and you would choose the appropriate amperage fuse to run with that wire. I like the ability to tap into either circuit that the ignition activated, or one that's always powered by the vehicle battery. I used these to wire in a baby camera and some fog lights. Highly useful and easy to use, and don't require permanent modification to the vehicle, which is a bonus if you lease your vehicle.

I needed this micro2 add-a-fuse adapter for two fuses so I could hardwire a dashcam in an Audi Q5. This did the trick and came with extra fuses and 4 add-a-fuses, so now I have two extra. I'm not sure how the quality or longevity will be for the fuses in this kit but the adapters are great and I have no issues so far.

These automotive fuse taps are clever and very handy. The kit has everything I needed to tap and fuse an additional power line safely. Four sets of taps and 20 varying fuses provided me with flexibility. I used to have to hard-wire my radars. Now that dash cams are affordable I figured I needed several for all my cars. These worked perfectly. They are good quality and worked great.

Really nice selection of fuses, easy to install with the included gripper. They're all color coded correctly, just can't see the numbers on top too well as they are not painted.

These YENOVO Fuse Tap Automotive 12V, LOW PROFILE MINI Add a Circuit Fuse Taps were just what I needed to easily add a circuit to my Honda. The package comes with four "add a circuits" that are ready to use, a 20 fuse assortment, and a fuse puller.Package instructions are non-existent, but the description on Amazon has enough information to inform most people (that are willing to tackle the job). I do prefer packaged instructions.The taps seem well constructed and fit properly into the fuse holder. This project is complete and I have spare taps for my next wild idea. Price is competitive for the items provided; there are numerous competitors, but this package had what I needed. Overall, I rate this as a good buy.
