Wow, these foam inserts are absolutely fantastic—way better than I ever imagined! I’m genuinely thrilled with them! I’ve been wanting to organize my toolbox with something like this for ages, but the cost always held me back. Make sure to double-check the dimensions because I received way more foam than I anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. The layered design is brilliant; you can easily peel away layers to achieve the perfect depth for your tools. Honestly, these are a game-changer. I’m so excited to finally have a system that not only keeps my tools organized but also helps teach my kids how to stay tidy. No more wasting time searching for missing tools! These are simple to cut and provide clean, precise edges. Typically, the foam used in toolboxes is made of polyethylene, which is an excellent starting point. This foam is firm, has a consistent texture, and offers a satisfying density to the touch. When examining this foam, one of the first things you'll notice is its four-layer composition: a black top layer, a black bottom layer, and two red middle layers. You can easily set the depth of your utility knife by placing the blade against the side of the foam and adjusting it to match the number of layers you intend to cut. The foam is of high quality and cuts effortlessly. When cutting, I prefer to set my knife to cut through entire layers—either one, two, or three layers—rather than partial layers like one and a half or two and a half. This approach makes removing the cut foam easier and results in a cleaner finish. At least, this method works well for me. The ONREVA brand seems to be of very good quality, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the results I’ve achieved using this foam.
