I have a 16 year old female cat, a real sweetheart. I brought home my great grandson's kitten, 9 months old kitten. The kitten was curious and the older cat wasn't impressed. These cat collars were easy to put on. They are soft and smell nice. My cats are older but anxious and these seem to be helping already. It’s easy to adjust the size. They are well made and great value for the cost.. recommend to all cat owners.

A little background: I live out in the country and have a house full of cats, five of which are Toms. The youngest Tom showed up about 8 months ago and started fighting with my other cats, so I trapped him and had him fixed. Since then he has become tame enough to come indoors, but he and my largest Tom (a 6-year-old alpha cat) still fight and scream at each other several times a day. I decided to try these calming collars out of desperation.Each collar is packed in an individual foil container for freshness. The lavender oil is strong yet not overpowering. The smell is pleasant, but it does make me sneeze almost every time a collar gets too close to my nose.The buckle is built into the collar which is made from one piece of purple rubber. The buckle is very tight, and the end does not slip through easily. This makes placing the collar on a stressed-out cat difficult. With this design you really only have one shot. There are 19 ramp-style catches on each collar. If the cat slips out of the collar before you are able to tighten it all the way, it can be very difficult to pull the catches back out without damaging the buckle or breaking the collar.The box states "Suitable for cats of all sizes", but I could only get the last few catches past the buckle on my two Tom cats and the younger one is still less than 2 years old. If you have an extremely large breed, you may want to measure your cat's neck before ordering. Although each collar is 15" long, the effective length is closer to 12.75".After putting collars on my two problem cats, the younger Tom just slunk down and glared at me for hours. He started acting ill and threw up once after wearing the collar for about 10 hours, but that might have been food related since he seems fine this morning. The good news is the calming collars appear to have worked. I was able to sleep through the night without being woken up by a single cat fight. Both cats were very mellow this morning and didn't fuss around the food plates demanding to be fed like they normally do.One caution, the collars do not include a quick-connect or break-away device so there is some risk of a cat getting hung up while wearing one of these collars. A quick-connect would have also made collar placement much simpler.

One of our freeloads fusses whenever we happen to go into the kitchen (she thinks it's *always* a good time for treats)- chirping, fussing, growling at the other cats- so we needed to try *something* to calm her down, so I was very eager to give these a try.First off, they're long. Really long. No matter how big your cat is, one of these will fit (heck, it'd probably even work on a dog). I could've gone around her neck twice with this thing!It also has a really strong smell. It's not an unpleasant smell (smells kind of like laundry detergent to me), but it is very, very strong.It's been less than 24 hours, but it seems she might be a *little* calmer. For the price point, they're definitely worth a try.

One of my cats tends to get anxious, especially during loud noises or new environments, and this collar has been a help. Within just a few hours of putting it on, I noticed a significant difference in her behavior—she was much calmer and more relaxed. The lavender scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and it seems to have a soothing effect on both of my cats. What I love most is the long-lasting effect—60 days of relief per collar is amazing value for money. The adjustable design ensures a perfect fit, and my cats didn’t try to take it off, which is always a win. They've made a noticeable difference in our household, and I’ll definitely be purchasing them again!

Ever since my cat has been around my mother's cats in the house, she has had anxiety and was constantly cleaning herself to the point where she is licking herself for hours. This calming collar was able to allow her to do just that, calm down and get some much needed rest.
