Purchased these to hold mantel garland in place as I did not want holes in my mantel. Worked very well with all four holders.

Save your money! They come right over with empty stocking!

I needed a better solution for holding stockings, and also needed something that wasn't incredibly bulky. These fit the bill perfectly! They don't take up a lot of storage space, but they sit perfectly on my windowsill and are very heavy based, which will be a perfect counter weight to the stockings. Since we're so early in the season, I haven't yet filled a stocking to see if it will truly hold, but it really seems as though it will. I will update this review if I have any issues with the stockings falling down, etc.
