Some assembly required -- I was hoping for a 2-sided rubber clamp that would hook onto my Yakima rack with one belt and then hold my shovel and axe with the other clamp. Nope, you need to screw it in somehow. Not too hard to figure out but not as easy as I;d hoped.

These look very useful to mount inside the tool compartment of a handyman's truck bed. If mounted on the roof rack, good for carrying shovels, brooms, rakes, hoes, pipe, and holding them secure and out of the way of parts boxes in the bed.Quality build. Should last and take a beating.Approved.

I ordered these quick release rubber clamps for my truck bed to hold tools. They arrived in a box of 4 and included 4 15x22 mm square backing plates (plastic), M5 socket head screws, nuts, and washers, along with a pair of 4mm allen wrenches. This allows you to mount to different bed rail setups. You can also substitite metal T nuts and heavier mounting bolts for rail systems if you drill the rubber out to a larger size. These clamps are large at 22 mm thick, 60 mm tall, and 69 mm long. with a heady duty tab that locks into the teeth to tighten the clamp. At rest, the round clamp hole measures about 38mm which should hold most tool handles like shovels, rakes, but it also stretches so oval handles should work too. You can tuck one jaw of the clamp under the other to grab smaller handles. They have tow holes drilled across the thickness of the clamp base so you can mount them different ways, or tie in ropes, eye bolts, etc for different setups. Time will tell how long the quick release straps hold, but even if they break, the jaws are firm enough they would probably hold most tools firmly enough in a truck bed.

These work well with to attach a shovel, ax or other necessary equipment to Molle panels, or a rack system in the back of a truck or jeep. They come with mounting screws. I am using them for shovel storage in the back of my pick-up truck.
