We live in the woods out in the country, so mice are a pretty big nuisance in our garage. My husband stores his 2 Harleys, 4 wheeler, riding mower, and other equipment out there. Last year we ran into problems with mice nesting inside the motors, and when they nest they chew on cables and cords and cause hundreds of dollars of damages. We're all for a more humane way of ridding of those little critters so thought we'd give this a try.My husband was trapping a mouse at least once or twice a week in the standard mouse traps. He started using this around 2nd week of February, it's March 6 and he's not had any mice in the traps.I don't go in garage often, but my husband said that when anything gets within range of the transmitter, it emits a pulsating sound. Unless the mice grow accustom to this, we feel this is working great. This is helping protect our property by creating a deterrent vs. trapping.

Spring is here, animals are out in our yard, and have been looking for some repellent to keep these animals away from our property. So decide to give this a try. I was tortured to the point of madness, bought all kinds of tools, and couldn't get rid of them. The house and car were ruined by the mice. This is ultrasonic, no complicated wires needed, very convenient to use. No matter where it is placed, it makes animals stay away. It is non-toxic, just put it in place, and the battery life is good, can last a very long period of time, and I don’t need to worry about recharging, which is very convenient. After using it for a while, it seems like the issue did get a little better. Overall it’s a great tool and works well for us.

This product is easy to install and operates quietly, making it perfect for my garage and under the hood of my vehicle. The combination of ultrasonic waves and strobe lights seems to effectively deter mice and other rodents. Since using it, I haven't encountered any signs of rodent activity, which is a huge relief.

It uses advanced microelectronics to emit alternating ultrasonic waves combined with LED strobe lights, making the environment uncomfortable for mice, rats, and other pests without harming pets or humans. The best part is its energy-saving design—it automatically switches to standby mode when the car is running and activates again five minutes after parking. I love that it offers three power supply options: AA batteries, USB charging, or direct connection to the car’s under-hood power supply, making it convenient. Installation was easy with the included cable ties, and I like how versatile it is, as it can also be used in garages, attics, basements, and more.

Easy to set up and install on a flat surface or in a trailer. I needed this for under the hood of an antique car I have in storage that is not being driven (we are still restoring it) so I cannot speak to where to place it under the hood and how it reacts when the car is turned on and moved or where the best place is to attach it so it doesn't get too hot or interfere with the engine. When you hook it up to the electrical system (either the car battery or to a USB port) or using a wall adapter the devise goes through its sounds and lights flash to let you know it is working then it goes silent. Unlike many of these things, this one does not make any noise or flash any lights until it detects that a rodent is present, then it goes off. I'm not sure how well that works, or how responsive it is, since you can's really see it in action.

Packrats, mice, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits have all found shelter under my car but not at the same time. Under the hood, packrats, mice and squirrels have all made a nest or chewed a drive belt or removed firewall insulation. Fortunately, they've left the wiring alone. In my garage, packrats and squirrels are most likely to cause damage because they can climb and make nests in inaccessible places and packrats, especially, will steal tools and hide them in their nest. Keeping them out is the first priority and, once in, getting them out is the next first priority.I've tried sonic repellents before with limited success. They ALL required a 110 volt receptacle. With this Rodent Repellent, I like the following:1. It runs on AA batteries x4 for up to three months. Five volts is the nominal voltage, so rechargeable NiMH probably won't last the same as carbon zinc and alkaline. I'll bet that LiFePo4 rechargeable will do as well as any AA batteries.2. It runs from a 5 volt phone adapter which, again, requires a 110 volt receptacle. I plugged into a small power bank as a test and found that the power bank shuts itself off because it doesn't detect the small draw of the Rodent Repellent. An old phone charger with 850mA is enough to run the Repellent.3. It runs on 12 volt! So it will operate from a car battery or many solar panels in an off grid situation. The 12 volt plug and socket are standard 5.5x12mm barrel connectors.4. In operation, it includes ultrasound vibrations and flashing lights of different colors triggered in timed sequences to disrupt a rodent's sense of security. If there is anything I don't like is:1. The effective area is small. Two Repellents are recommended for under the car hood.As my grandson is fond of saying, "I hope this works!"
