I placed it right under the nest, but it didn’t catch anything. I tried it in another place, but it didn’t work.

It’s a little bit weak for wind but reasonable for the price

We had a group of bald face hornets in our Mountain Ash tree that were removing pieces of bark to make a nest. I was very concerned about this and decided to try these traps. I wasn't expecting much as some people had found them useful and others gave negative reviews. But, I was desperate. After we received the package of two we tried to put them together, which was challenging to say the least. We finally got them assembled and we hung them in the ash tree late in the day yesterday. At noon today I checked the traps and was delighted to count 17 hornets either stuck to the trap or dead on the ground. The sticky stuff must be poisonous, so handle it with care. Because of this success I can recommend them for catching bald face hornets. I would suggest getting traps that are pre-assembled,..

It’s a bit of a nightmare to set up.That’s why it’s 3. I will update after 1 week and see if it works. Wasp bitten me already and I can’t find a hive or nest.Once set up and the glue on hands only come off with gasoline. I have pure acetone and it didn’t come off at all. So the glue is extremely sticky and it should work with the wasp.It comes with 2 extra sheets, so it’s a better value for the money than others that come with only 1.Will keep updated.

I can’t even give this product one star. First of all the are difficult to put together, you have to build the tube, the holes don’t line up to snap togeter, second they don’t work… they have been up for 6 weeks, one of them has one fly, the by the pool has caught a few bugs no yellow jackets or wasps and the by the back door just a few nats. I honestly feel like I wasted my money, time and effort.

Wasted time, wasted energy, wasted effort and money. Here's the story... These are not assembled - You must do it all. Now, that is bad enough but, the components (inner tube) does not got together well and does not stay together. the sticky part, a sheet of paper that wraps around the inner tube, has a double-sided tape along one edge which is supposed to hold it together when wraped around the tube but the tape does not stick as it should, so the whole thing comes apart. I ended up with the sticky stuff, and it is sticky, all over the kitchen counter top, allover my hands and the doorknobs to the garage where I endeavored to get cleaned up. My favorite T-shirt is ruined. Goof Off would not touch it, did nothing. WD-40 will cut it and cleaned it off well, both me and the counter top but, I won't try that on my shirt, it goes in the trash (Thank you, Sancodee). Then I must drive 30 miles to UPS store to make the return. My advice is this - Since these traps do work, buy the single units and not the multi-pack. Single units are preassembled, mostly. Pay a little more and be a lot happier.

I have tried many different bees and wasps catchers and it always hit and miss. I was pretty skeptical when I bought this.To my surprise it WORKED!It is easy to set up ( although keep in mind paper has VERY sticky glue on it).It has a cute design which allows you to hang it anywhere you want and to worry that it will make your yard look bad.Great price.Definitely will be buying it again this year.

I snapped one when getting the hang of assembling them. After the first one it’s quick to put together. It caught a few smaller flying bugs but not any of the bees or wasps we were trying to manage. I was too grossed out to change the glue paper with the dead bugs on it so I didn’t change it or use it again
