love this value pack (hey they are small- one fell under the couch and I almost missed it!) I haven't played violin in years and began again during the pandemic but do not want to bother neighbors (it can get loud). I have been using some of my old mutes that are larger and slide on the bridge in an unsightly manner-- these are discreet and easy. I can focus on the strings I am working on and even use these to change the dynamic and tones of some strings. I really like them! Doesn't interfere with the note tone quality, just loudness, and doesn't interfere with playing!

These are standard design violin mutes. They are easy to attach and use and work just fine. Amazing that these use to be 8-10 for one and now you can get four of them for much less. A mute is a mute and these are a very good value and product and better than a clothes pin.
