I ordered these threaded rods for my home workshop; I use threaded rods to bolt things together. These threaded rods are precision machined: the threads are sharp, are visually perfect, and 1/4"-20 nuts screw right on with no binding anywhere (better than other vendors' products). The rods are 304 stainless steel that is corrosion resistant to most environmental hazards (exception: salt water). I am not a metallurgist, but the rods test weakly magnetic which is consistent with 304 stainless steel. The package contains four 12" long rods in a zip lock bag; my rods were perfectly straight upon arrival.

I used these to make some racks to hang 12v marine wire spools on, so the product had to be stainless steel to survive the environment. These arrived quickly packed in a simple plastic bag. They came out of the package nice and straight. The threaded rods are well cut without any burrs or imperfections in the threads that make them hard to thread. Time will tell how they hold up to the salty environment, but they look great so far. These are a good value compared to the local hardware store, these costing about 1/4 as much for a similar product.

I am building an underwater scooter and everything must be stainless steel. I also need to hold a water tight seal on each end of the electronic package. These 4 Packs 1/4"-20 of Thread Fully Threaded Rods are 304 Stainless Steel and give me the ability to compress the seal on each end of the tube that holds the electronics. The stainless steel means that I won't need to worry about painting them to stop corrosion and that I can disassemble it easily. They are right hand thread so that there is no need to worry about buying a special nut for the rod. Nicely machined and 12" long, which means that they are a manageable size. If I need a longer rod, I can use a stainless steel 1/4 - 20 coupler and put two together.

I bought one of these at Home Depot and the tag on both the threaded rod and nuts were labeled wrong. They were 20tpi, not 24. These are 24tpi and screwed right into my bow. Perfect.

This is good quality threaded rod. Threads are clean and true to spec. Not much else I can say about them other than that I found them to be exactly as described.
