Then, make sure the big end is facing forward and the deer whistle is level with the horizon. The most reasonable location is where there is more air flow, followed by the grille and front bumper.

Over the years I've always put deer whistles (a matched pair) under the front bumper/grill of every vehicle. I have noticed that if I see deer on the side of the road at night, they are always moving away from the road when I have deer whistles on the car. If I don't have deer whistles, the deer are standing still by the side of the road, but not moving away.This set of two pairs of deer whistles is reasonably priced for two sets and the self-stick mounting tape sticks well.If you live in deer country these deer whistles can help keep deer off the road when you're driving.

I used to live in deer country and everyone had these on their cars. You have a deer jump in front of you while going 60+ mph and that'll jumpstart your heart rate.These look just like the ones I used to have. I can't tell you if they work, because the sound is inaudible to humans. If you live in deer country, then why not get a pair?Now, I'm no scientist or biologist, but I was careful to put these on facing the proper way - I'm worried if I put them on backwards that they might actually attract the deer! Actually, they probably just wouldn't be effective backwards.Easy to "install" -- peel of the plastic and attach with the provided sticker.
