Did what I wanted. I had a NAS that was causing noise from the drives to translate to the wood it was sitting on, amplifying the sound. These isolated it from the wood, causing a drastic noise reduction. Love these little things. They are pretty strong, so the NAS didn't even compress them at all. Very solid.

These spring pads helped to reduce vibrations from the tabletop to my speakers. I experienced better clarity in the upper region and felt the price paid was worth it.Update: These springs alone may have not yield the results I was seeking for in my setup, but this provided the decoupling factor in conjunction with other materials. Constructed a poor man's tabletop speaker stand from layering various dampening items that outperformed my initial expectations by a long shot. My Dynaudio bookshelf speakers sounded good to begin with on foam desktop stands, but isolating vibrations even more from the tabletop just allowed the Dyns to perform so much better. Didn't know how much vibrations rob sound quality. Created a similar stand for my desktop speakers and it too yielding really good results. Just looks a bit funky.

I had high hopes for this as I was trying to reduce vibration from foot traffic and it looked like a simple solution. This almost seemed to make the problem worse and one of my records now has a skip in it. What a bummer

While these do help to some degree they are a lot more stiff than I expected so they only absorb so much vibration.

I have been an audiophile for nearly two decades. I have advanced slowly to take advantage of economical improvements, rather than blowing a whole bunch of money right away. That said, I own a McIntosh MA6100 with a Denon DP-47F turntable and associated steamers, etc. However, adding four of these $10 spring pads beneath each of my vintage and rebuilt Allison Acoustics AL-110 speakers was ASTOUNDING.I get it. Our ears sometimes hear what our minds want them to hear. However, I fondly recall listening to how these pads totally decoupled my speakers from their listening perches better than my expensive metal spikes had ever done.Try it for yourself, as you have maybe $20 to lose over a set of speakers. I found these spring pads bring out the ring of acoustic guitars, as well as the toms-toms on drums. It helps to listen to good recordings, and I have been made a 100 percent believer in this product.

Does exactly what they're supposed to. Excellent for the price. Looks good (if that's the vibe you want).I didn't by these for isolation but to raise up my speakers a bit and still have it look good.
