I recently purchased the Lighting Contactor 60 Amp 4 Pole Normally Open (NO) for use in my industrial workspace. I was impressed by its versatility and ease of use.First of all, the contactor is well-made and sturdy. The 4 pole design makes it ideal for controlling multiple circuits, and the 63 amp rating means it can handle high current loads without any issues. The contactor is also rated for 110/120VAC coil voltage, which is a common voltage in both home and industrial settings.Installation of the contactor was straightforward and hassle-free. The wiring connections were clearly labeled and easy to follow. The contactor switch worked as expected, providing reliable and consistent performance. One feature that I particularly appreciated was the normally open (NO) design. This means that the contactor switch is normally open and only closes when it receives a signal from a switch or other control device. This is great for controlling lighting or other electrical circuits in a way that is safe and reliable.Overall, I would highly recommend the Lighting Contactor 60 Amp 4 Pole Normally Open (NO) for both home and industrial uses. It's well-made, versatile, and easy to use, making it a great choice for anyone in need of a general-purpose contactor switch.

Out of the box, this is a standard 4 pole contactor. DIN rail mount only. Fits securely on the DIN rail.It accommodates wire sizes from 18ga to 2ga with ferrules. Fitted a 2ga welding cable with ferrule. Can be used as a replacement for many 120v control voltage systems. It is flexible as a 1, 2, 3, or 4 pole contactor. It is a good choice and at a fair price point.Simple testing concurs with the coil pull/hold VA. Contact bounce is This is a good choice for lighting. Derate for resistive loads, I.E. electric heating. It is a general purpose contactor suited for many applications. With a wide voltage range, this should not be overlooked. Two drawbacks I came to note. 400v rating where in the USA, we use 600v rated devices for industrial and commercial applications that require 480v.This contactor does have the ability for side mounted auxiliary contacts. I could not locate a source for these. I have not found the actual manufacturer. This contactor is available under several other brands. There are other contactors under the same name that offer auxiliary contacts, if needed.

If you need to control powerful devices like large space heaters, EV chargers, and others, this is the contactor for you. Note the rating, 60 amps for AC 7a which is a non-motor or "slightly inductive" load such as a heater or charger but 7b is only 25 amps for a motor. It's designed to switch 3-phase loads but for a residential 120/240 circuit you would use 3 of the poles and leave the 4th disconnected. With this contactor you could use a cheap 120V smart plug to power the contactor, then use the contactor to switch your high-current load. Note that all of the contacts are normally-open so you can't easily use this to turn OFF the load when a signal is sent, and since you're working with 120V+ this is definitely not for the average DIYer.There is a mechanical indicator that appears red when the coil is energized and black when not (similar to how some circuit breaker trip indicators work). Build quality is solid and there's some good weight to it.

This is a 4 pole, normally open (NO), 40amp, AC relay, also called a “starter”. It has a 120v AC coil. I am making a very clear point that this has AC contactors and not DC. DC requires much larger contact areas due to the arcing. This relay mounts to a standard DIN rail.I’ll be using this in my home’s solar system. I have two arrays of 2,700 watts total. These feed a large battery bank, which then feeds a 2,500 watt pure sinewave inverter. I want this to allow me to do some additional controls on my output side.I am a retired master control electrician. This is a well made product and for now I will give it 5 stars. I will return to this review within the next 6 months to give an update.Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In most cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical.
