This seems like a good product for what I need it for. The only problem is that one of them is bent and the mesh was broken, because they're kind of flimsy. I think they should be shipped in box, not a bag.

I recently discovered a dead roof rat in the street near my home, likely killed by a stray cat. I was aware that I had three roof jacks, wide open, with no ducts beneath them. The opening is close to four inches, but very imperfect. I cut some scrap sheet metal to create gaskets, and these became perfect for the job, even protecting against insects.

Product is a great fit but needed a little bending to make it more snug in the 4” pipe. Used on a rain gutter outlet and held up to a hefty thunderstorm of rain flowing out.

They came in on time. Nice product but of 16 ordered 9 were damaged (bent frames / screens bent ) apparently in shipping (shipped in soft bag instead of a box) 2 were damaged and couldn't use.

I bought what I assumed was just dopey hole saw, that turned out to be surgical quality. These vent caps are designed to fit exactly into a 4 inch hole in soffit. They do. They are just ever so slightly smaller so the fit tightly. I used a rubber hammer to gently tap them in. The rims are approximately an eighth of an inch wider than the hole so the appearance looks quite professional. I used them for ceiling vents. So attaching the vent flex tubing from the attic was a challenge, but no biggie.

Not very durable. If something pushes onto the mesh it will loosen and dent. Okay to use in an area that will not ever get touched. I was trying to ventilate some cabinets.

These fit great in a 4" hole. I used them to vent an enclosed cabinet that contains home theater equipment. They look a lot better than an open hole and still allow a ton of air to flow through.My only complaint is that the mesh itself is not painted. I had hoped the entire surface would be white
