Installation Steps
STEP 1
Use M8*40 self-tapping screw to fixl-shaped plate to your platform.
STEP 2
Fix handrail to L-shaped plate with M8*50 bolts, and then fix the front end of handrail to the platform with M8*40 self-tapping screw.
STEP 3
Finally use nuts and M8*60 bolts and nylon spacer to fix the steps to handrail. And cover PP caps onto both the head of nuts & hexagon bolts.

We love these ladders. Easily replaced the older broken ones on our tritoon with these and kick ourselves for not doing this sooner. Easy to install and pull up nicely. Extra width on the stairs was so much better than what we had.

I purchased this ladder and installed it on my swim deck. It worked very well until we stowed it and went across the lake. We went for about 10 min. When we stopped to swim 2 of the plastic treads were gone. Can they be replaced? I will pop rivet them on or fasten them some other way. We have small children and I am worried they will get a foot stuck in it. It was the first time we used it.

This was suppose to. E a great ladder. Steps have covers and latches in upright position. However. The step covers have come off and the latch does not hold when transporting the boat so we have to bungee it up. To much money for a fall apart item.

Would like the seller to respond/send proper sized replacements for this dock ladder.... seems to be sturdy... had to use upgraded bolts and screws to attach it to the dock.... the screws and such provided are just not rated for the weight it's supposed to be able to support.

After reading the negative reviews about the steps popping out it took 10 minutes to drill two 3/16" holes thru the pads and use tie wraps as a preventative measure prior to installation on the boat. As it came the pads were very tight in place so I'll never know if there was an issue or not. The ladder is very well made and doesn't flex under my 210 pounds. The extra wide 4" step is wonderful compared to the two inch version I replaced, even barefoot it's very comfortable. The worse part of the project was having to hear complaints about why it took me so long to replace the original narrow step we had.

The black step pads did not stay attached to stainless steel tubular steps. They are sized improperly and every time the ladder is pulled out of water and swung back to the hand rails the black step pads fall off.It appears the step pads are designed to be held in place by tension but it is inadequate - way too loose. I will attempt to fix since I've already installed the ladder including adding bracing etc. to my pier.EDIT: Seller has been very responsive to this review and is sending replacement pads. Will update after receiving and installing replacement pads.UPDATE: Seller sent new step pads. Installed and a very tight fit. I've adjusted my rating.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase.The ladder arrived with a bent tube and black steps that were already falling off. This is unacceptable.I am very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.Hope Amazon will take action to ensure that other customers do not have to experience this same issue in the future.

Item came really well packaged. Installation instructions were weak - a little confusing on description of hardware. Actual install took longer than expected, but that was due to my having to add supports underneath the ThruFlow decking. That also meant buying additional screws to account for the extra 1" offset height. For a normal install, all needed hardware was included. Overall very pleased with the new dock ladder.
