Bought this as part of the Big 3 upgrade on my Excursion. This allows the alternator to directly charge the driver side battery. This is easy to install and easy to see if it tripped.

I recently added solar panels and a lithium battery to a camper. To isolate the solar panels from the charger and the chargers from the battery I installed several of these circuit breakers. They are very easy to mount and connect. Instead of having to install a fuse block with an inline switch to isolate components, this circuit breaker provides the current protection you need and you can push the button and isolate parts of your system if you need to work on it. Likewise, if you do accidentally overload your system, just push the manual reset instead of having to find a new fuse.I recently went on a long cross country RV trip with our new system and these circuit breakers handled bouncing down the road very well. We did overload the battery at one point and it was an easy reset once we lowered our power demand. Reliable and easy to use.

Was easy to install. Better than the glass fuses that tended to crack with pulling batteries in and out. After having in for a few weeks, upgraded the trolling motor and obtained a 60amp per manufacturer recommendations.

Pros:Works as a disconnect switch, doesn't get too hot, and the voltage is the same on both sides of the breaker.Cons:The breaker button feels squishy and flimsy.Didn't test the breaking functionality as I don't have a 150A load.
