Out of 40 seeds only 3 survived. The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because I know how hard it is for sequoia seeds to grow. I'm overall happy. My 3 sequoia trees are beautiful.

Glad to get the seeds, ad gives the impression there's a picture of a Sequoia Gigantea tree but there is not. Tiny plastic package less than 2" square, no picture of any kind. Seller should mention that these seeds will germinate but die if planted anywhere but the U.S. Pacific coast.

Planted them and nothing happened. You'd think I would learn my lesson about buying seeds from Amazon! I have never gotten any seeds to grow and I follow planting/sprouting instructions to the letter. Don't bother to get these, they won't grow!

I spread the seeds in the fall. I watched for signs of growth. Nothing!! The next year, I noticed tiny little growing saplings. I thought my neighbor's Eastern White had sent some seeds my way. I the next year, the saplings were large enough that I knew they were not Eastern Whites but my Sequoias. I have about 50 growing in my yard. Some are just tiny little ones. Some of them are about 1 1/2 feet tall now. I am having the best time watching them grow. My husband thinks I'm nuts. I love trees!!!!!!!!!

Don't waste your money with this product. I knew when I received the package that it probably wouldn't be successful. The seeds were tiny, shriveled and dried out. I soaked the seeds for 24 hours and did a cold stratification for 30 days. Planted the seeds, put them in my greenhouse and 32 days later... Nothing. Not a single seed germinated.
