The only reason I gave this four and not five stars is that the sizes run large. We first bought a medium and the nails were swimming in them :D, for an 11 pound cat. We ordered the small, which will work, but they definitely won't be growing out of them any time soon. In a different brand the small would be the size of a medium, so they are high quality and I would recommend, just size the brand accordingly, ordering a size smaller than you may be used to.

We bought the size medium for our 2 adult cats, but needed to trim them down just a bit so they could fully retract their claws with the nail guards on. I put them on while the cats were napping, and it was easy-peasy! One cat has managed to pull the guards off her thumbs, but she doesn't seem to mind the rest of them. Be careful with the glue though, and only fill the nail guards 1/3 full, or you'll end up getting in on their skin/fur. Overall, very pleased with these. Now it doesn't hurt at all when my kitty is making biscuits on me! Haha

The nail caps are really cute but sadly I took too long to see if it could fit my cat. I got medium and it’s very large compared to the ones sold in stores. That a bummer!

They were very cute and I was super excited when I received them. I had my cats' groomer put them on and she remarked on their quality being pretty good. I got the medium as the sizing chart said that would be average for an adult cat (both my cats are adults) and the caps fell off within a day. I did ask the groomer and she said the mediums were too large for my cats as their nails are quite short from routine trimmings so there wasn't enough nail to hold the cap.So if you trim your cat's routinely/often you might need to size down to get a proper fit. I have not gotten the small size to try this theory, been too worried on getting another box of caps I won't be able to use.

I recommend wrapping your kitty in a blanket or towel while working on an individual hand. They do get bad at first and it is hard to get on but will get the hang of it after a couple attempts. Be super careful with how much glue you use and how close it is to the skin as it is super powerful glue and can hurt them. And make sure to adjust the size of the cap to fit its claw size. ((My lil one is having no problems adjusting to them so far))

I love these as a safe, temporary option for protecting my furniture. My cat does not appreciate how cute and sparkly they are and complains copiously when I apply them. I'm trying to reason with her that these are more humane then de-clawing and much cheaper than buying new furniture on a regular basis. Despite her unwillingness to listen to reason, she's perfectly fine once they're on. And they really stay on. Just be sure to check your cat's claws every now and then because occasionally one won't shed as the claw grows out and it can start to poke into the toe pad. If this starts to happen, I just use clippers to nick the nail right above the cap and it will split and shed right off without hurting kitty.

I'm in loooooove! Great idea. I started my kitty at two months and I was able to place them. She turned 3.5 months and all kitty hell broke loose, still I overcame the hell to move into heaven... I MUST give you my tips, and I got some from reading the reviews.1. Cut the caps, use only about 2/3 of it, don't be afraid to cut them, you want them to cover the nail "tip". Cut them all before starting.2. Use some other strong glue, and just put a drop in.3. 2 people needed, one to hold the kitty and one to put the caps... now, here we have a few things to say, perhaps wrapping the kitty and taking one paw out at the time is a good idea, you might need to do one paw every hour if you get my meaning. You know your cat better than anybody and as I said mine is going ballistics at this time of her life. She is 4 months now and whenever she is at the vets she is always a bit scare so she is attached to me and "easier to handle". Well... I decided to take her to a groomer. The logistic with the groomer was that I hold her and she worked the caps. Saphira (that is my kitty) was "still" because she wasn't comfortable in the environment and the caps were "easy to place", and are better than ever, I believe that in part because she allowed me to hold her until I felt they were dry enough. The first ones I got were for kittens. Now I got small and they fit great.I'll try to post pics of Saphira.Good Luck!
