This stuff is pricey. But it works. I needed to get black algae out of my pool. A month with this and it was gone for good. Black algae gets everywhere and one little spore is enough to keep it coming back with a vengeance. This stuff well and truly got rid of it. It took some scrubbing, too, but it did the trick.

Cheaper than the local pool store and it works well on algae in the pool. We've used this for years.

NOT original SILVERTRINE!!! This is listed as Silvertrine (Plus) but it is not the silver chemical, it is a copper based algaecide! The bottles arrived as Swimtrine not Silvertrine. Beware as silver has less pool wall staining than copper. Very concerned as to the incorrect listing then the arrival of a copper based blend.

If black mold is your problem then you might want to buy a black mold product otherwise this is *not* the silver type product that is is commonly used.Buy silver based stuff for common issues
