So far cooler has done great I used to see 210 to 215 temp pulling my 22ft boat now when I pull my boat it doesn't go over 180 degrees ever. It's a game changer if you gonna pull heavy trailers. Even if you don't pull anything the trans temp is way lower. I have a 08 escalsde ext 6l80 trans.

It fit perfect and went in easy. Just started leaking 4 mos later and know I have to get a different one.

My impression of this unit is that it's nice, clean, light-weight and easy to hook up/install. My particular use-case is different in that I'm using this as a heat-exchanger for a small solar heating setup, so it will not be under pressure or any great stress, so I cannot comment with regards to that. That said, I like the unit, and from what I can see at first inspection and initial setup I have no reason to believe it will be anything other than perfect for my application. Having installed a transmission cooler before in an actual vehicle, this unit compares well with what I would expect WRT how the elements are bonded, flow tube sizes, fin density, etc. Like ANYTHING I've ever installed in a vehicle that has fluids - especially hot or under pressure - flowing through it, I would monitor performance closely for several days under normal or heavy use to ensure I saw no signs of stress/leaks, etc. Because this unit is not a brand I recognize, I would probably give it extra scrutiny, but - again - it appears to be well made and I would expect it to be trouble-free based on what I see.
