Using a Sizzix Foldaway this does emboss but I had to use a shim giving a much better impression. The challenge was figuring out the shim for my machine.

This is very tiny and the embossing quality on the upper and lower edges was poor.

I had seen a masculine card made with a similar background with an embossing folder by TH Alterations. I searched high and low for it, or for one by a known company, and alas, I couldn’t find one. I took a chance on this one. It is cheaply made and you have to figure out how to shim it to get a decent impression with your die cut machine while embossing it. It isn’t the worst embossing folder I’ve gotten from “no name craft companies” on Amazon, but it certainly isn’t the quality of a genuine brand name one. If, like me, you are desperate for the pattern, and can’t find a branded one elsewhere, go ahead and get it. Be prepared to fiddle with it to get a decent embossed impression.

The embossing is uneven. I've tried different methods like wetting the paper before putting it through the machine and it got worse. Not great quality wish the folder was a bit thicker with better grooves in the design
