I prefer live plants versus artificial but I wanted evergreen trees at our firepit for the Winter. Live trees in pots through Minnesota winters just don't work well, so I thought I'd give these artificial trees a try.I have another pair of pine trees from a different manufacturer that are MUCH better quality than these trees. I would say this pair of trees is a decent quality, but not the best. The leaf color just does NOT look realistic at all - such a weird green color.When I took the trees out of the box, some of the tips fell off - even though I was handling the trees very carefully. I'm afraid that since these pieces fell off so easily, the trees might not hold up well outside in the wind.The leaves look okay. Up close, it's obvious they're plastic, but they look slightly better from a distance. The leaves are all the same color, with no variations in color like the other trees I have. This makes them look much more fake.TIP: DO NOT spread the leaves out too much! If you do, you will be able to see the center pole. The trees look much better if you don't move the leaves too much - keeping a more upright form.Because of the weird green color, I've decided not to use these in our yard - they just don't look real. Maybe I can use them in pots elsewhere in our yard - I'm undecided at this point.I would have rated these trees a 3.5 if I could have - but rounded up to 4 stars. There are better quality - and more realistic - artificial trees available.PROS:- No assembly requiredCONS:- Tips of leaves fall off VERY easily- No color variation in leaves, making tree look very plastic and fake

Nice and good size artificial cypress tree for yard decoration. Looks real and no need of watering. Recommend to anyone that likes to decorate.

I got these to use in planters in front of our house just through the winter holidays. They are extremely lifelike; I think once they’re in the pots, with a bit of mulch mounded around the (clearly fake) trunk bases to cover them, they will look absolutely real. That’s the good part.Now the ugly, lol! The greenery on these feel almost powdery? There is nothing sticky on them, but they do leave an odd feeling on your fingers. It did go away immediately after washing hands with plain old soap and water. This is important because your fingers are going to be on the greenery of these little trees,a LOT!Load up your favorite show on Amazon Prime and get to watching -because you’re going be sitting there for a while! These little trees are going to require quite a bit of time, first pulling each individual branch down and then, twisting the thousands of individual little pieces of greenery into place. These are going to look as good, as you are willing to spend time making them. The individual little pieces occasionally do fall right off, they pop right back into place. No need to throw them away, just wiggle them right back onto the piece they fell off of.I think these little trees are going to be great, with the caveat that if you want them to look really good, just like an artificial Christmas tree, you will need to spend time arranging the branches.Also, this review is going to have to be updated because the trees need to sit outside for a couple of months before I know how they will be affected by the elements. I’m extremely hopeful that they will stay this color and not fade terribly. Will update in the fall!
