I got these because my Nikon D3 is heavy and kept slipping during indoor sessions (vertical). The body was screwed into the manifrotto tripod quick release clip but was still not tight enough. This solved my problem...no it's nice and tight and I don't have to retighten...completely locked tight.

Way overpriced, some of it my fault. Didn't pay attention to quantity, was in a hurry to get them.
