Your cart is empty.Set Screws are commonly used to secure an object within or against another object, such as securing a pulley or gear to a shaft. These set screws are Headless Screws which are commonly called Blind Screws or Grub Screws. These headless screws comes with a Hex Socket in which a Hex Allen Wrench is inserted for tightening and loosening of the screw. Set screws are also used in applications where a flat surface is important, such as handles, grips, surfboard fins, and furniture or machine assembly.

Lost the original set screw. This was a perfect replacement. Do note: if you use the set screw method instead of just using the grip to hold it in, you will need to trim the detent spring quite a bit.

Excellent little set screws. Finely finished stainless screws started easily and did the job perfectly. Even more convenient, they came with the correct size allen wrench to install them too.

Purchased these set screws because AP lower does not come with rear takedown pin set screw, even though it is tapped for a 4/40 set screw... no issues whatsoever and it really helps prevent the rear takedown spring and detention from flying into orbit when disassembling buffer tube assembly. Plenty of spares for future AR builds as well.

Fit perfectly into my Aero Prescion M4E1 with some aeroshell grease. Was a nice addition to my AR pistol build. Just remember youll have to trim the spring a little bit
