Used one of these rods and a pair of threaded inserts recently purchased for a different project to clamp a circular saw cable strain relief I was gluing back together. Unfortunately, the rod I grabbed wasn't fully threaded on one side. The second one worked fine, and the remaining six look OK.One wonders how this obvious flaw got past the quality control inspection process.

As with all of these machined products coming out of China, the threading tends to be a little rough. I ran a coupler down the length of the rod several times and the threads smoothed right out. I think this is a good value, I will buy again, and I do recommend.

I needed some threaded rod for a custom lantern I was making and these fit perfect. Not a whole lot to say, they're sturdy and the threads are very well cut.
