Works well on wood, it does not cause wood to fur up after sanding. I used it on harbor freight surface conditioning tool , fits well tougher than the baur brand that comes with the tool . When using the tol let the tool do the work

at first glance and feel they seem to be very rugged, I was using them to clean a steel table top as it has a bit of surface rust. I used the HF one to clean the same top and several other metal material that I have and it worked great but this one leaves a lot to be desired. unlie the HF wheel this one immediately began to fall apart. I initially figured it was jus some loose pieces coming off but they kept falling off and next thing you know the wheel is completeley tattered. complete waste of money, I will look into getting the HF brand again.

I used this as a replacement for the original that came with my Harbor Freight Bauer metal conditioning tool. Although it is larger, it fits without any modifications. It worked great stripping my car to bare metal. I have used two of these drums and have no issues. Highly recommend them.

So they are a little bigger than the hf wheels, they go on and work but they rub on the guard until they wear down a little. You can take the guard off the Bauer surface conditioner and file it a bit then elongate the fixing holes and then these larger wheels fit a treat. As for longevity seems to wear at the same rate as the hft one but lasts a bit longer as it starts off bigger. Pretty good for the price, don't push hard or you eat through them light pressure let the tool do the work. It's pretty much the fastest way to strip paint unless you have a massive industrial sand blaster.

I bought a finisher and some supplies. All are good. For my purpose this is the best. It removes rust and old paint better than about anything else I have ever used.

Purchased this hoping I would find a less expensive source for this supply. However, it doesn't last as long as the ones a few dollars more. Disappointed by this. Did do the job while it lasted though.

I have read reviews that said it didn’t fit any tool that these are made for. I took a gamble. Glad I did. Fits harbor freight surface conditioning tool made by Bauer no problem at all. Perfect and I’d even say better then then the one Bauer makes more beefy so we’ll see how long it lasts but it will fit the Bauer surface conditioning tool no sweat.
