The tool cuts and snaps very well. The extension arms are well-designed and easy to remove. However, I am giving this tool two stars because it is not aligned. The cut line and the top edge are not perpendicular. When I cut a 2-foot tile, there was a 1/8-inch difference. The most important part of cutting tools is correct alignment. However, if I mark both edges and line up the cut area to those marks, it is spot on. All in all I just use it my way but miss alignment slowed me down.

Works perfectly and is very well made from quality material. The downside is it’s heavy but it’s worth it. I can still move it by myself but it is a task. I am not a professional but my tile project looks amazing! I would recommend

This tile cutter is a solid and quality addition to my tile tool collection, with solid parts and sturdy construction, it should last quite awhile. While it may take a few tries to figure it out, this cutter significantly improves the tile cutting process. The laser cutting guide is helpful for quickly lining up your cuts. The split platen adds stability, making it ideal for larger format tile--which is exactly what I got this for.

I've been slowly building up my tool collection and this is a good addition. Solid construction and has a good weight to it without being too heavy. Seems well built and like it should last a long time.

As the headline states: Whoa! Built Like A BrickWhen the box first arrived I tried to move it and I was super surprised how heavy it was (45 pounds)... and I didn't know what was in there. Was impressed when I opened the box to find the SHIJING 48'' Double Track Manual Tile Cutter. Over the last three years I've tiled about a dozen bathrooms and four kitchens using a wet saw and $40 manual tile cutter. I had to use the wet saw when the $40 tile cutter could not cut thin strips, small tiles and also bigger tiles. The tile trend currently is bigger tiles in the bathroom!I have not used the SHIJING 48'' Double Track Manual Tile Cutter at this time but assembling and handling is a huge upgrade... it's like going from my $40 "VW" tile cutter to my new $300 "Cadillac" tile cutter. Super impressed with the construction and machining of all parts. All machine screws fit perfectly. Love the scales on the support arms... even though they are in metric. The laser will save so much time lining up tile cuts.I should have had purchased this tile cutter years ago as it would have saved me so much time and larger profit.

With laser cutting guide and split pressure plate, the double aluminum base design is very stable. It is very easy to use, and the laser guide makes the cutting more accurate, which is especially suitable for some more delicate tile cutting work. The double track structure makes the whole cutting process more stable, and there will be no problem of tile breaking or cutting straight, which is a good helper in decoration.
