Ordered a new blade for a used saw I just bought. It said it was gently used and it was, I still wanted to start my life with it with a new blade

This blade looks and feels well made, and if you don't look closely it looks almost identical to the OEM blade that comes with the TS55-REQ saw. The only difference I see is a small difference in the vibration reducing channels cut into the edge of the blade, but this difference does not seem to have any effect on the blade performance. Would buy again.

I have not had my track saw for long and it is not a tool I use that often. I could not justify the price for the Festool version and opted instead for the Makita corded during a cyber Monday sale. This is a great tool and the blade it came with is a decent one. When I saw this blade, I thought I would give it a try even knowing that the blade is 5mm smaller in diameter that the stock Makita. However, the only time this becomes an issue is when using the scoring feature for your first cut. It is relatively easy to compensate for and still get good results. This blade arrived in good condition due to the protective tube around the teeth and cardboard sleeve that the blade is in. Also, Amazon had it in their own box with air packs.I needed to break down a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" birch plywood for a cabinet I was building and figured this would be a good time to test out this blade. Since my plan was to make the final dimension cuts on the table saw anyway, I was not concerned if it left a ragged edge. I set up my first cut and let it rip (literally). I was amazed and really pleased with how clean the cut was. I was able to use the track saw to get to my final dimensions for all my rip cuts and even crosscuts to complete the carcass of the cabinet. This blade is 1/3 of the price of a Festool and 1/2 the price of the Makita and does just as nice a job in my opinion. I am very happy with this blade and can definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind it is 5mm less in diameter.
